“From the very beginning, our goal has been for Creotech Quantum to be a company with its own products, clients, and real sales. We have been working on this for months. The key area is quantum telecommunications, specifically Quantum Key Distribution (QKD). Prototypes of the systems will be ready this year, and the full completion of the development program is planned for 2026,” said Grzegorz Brona.
“Importantly, we are implementing this project in cooperation with the European Commission – and we are talking about the first fully European QKD system, developed in Europe, with all intellectual property rights remaining in the EU. The natural recipient of these solutions will therefore be the European Commission itself, which commissioned the system for use in EU institutions,” he added.
According to the CEO, this gives the company a unique position: an R&D project with a clearly defined market from the start. This allows the spin-off of the company to be perfectly synchronized with the market launch of its key products.
