Creotech Instruments S.A., a leading Polish developer of quantum systems and satellites listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, announced the launch of its proprietary Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) system during the ongoing QCI Days 2025 conference in Athens, a major event for the European quantum communication community. This fully Europe-based solution is designed to provide the highest level of communication security for public administration, the defense sector, and the financial industry. The QKD system is being developed under the eCAUSIS project, with a market launch planned for early 2026.
The QCI Days 2025 conference is taking place in Athens from April 28–30, 2025, and focuses on the latest trends in secure quantum communication. The event brings together members of the EuroQCI community from both public and private sectors, prospective users of quantum key distribution systems, experts from the Digital Europe Programme (DEP) and Quantum Flagship projects, industry specialists, R&D institutes, and decision-makers in quantum communication and cybersecurity.

Our goal was to create a European solution that meets the most current security standards and satisfies the requirements of even the most demanding users, from public administration bodies to the defense sector. Transitioning from the R&D phase to offering a market-ready solution is a significant milestone in the development of QKD technology. We are now starting a series of prototype tests with potential users within the European EuroQCI network, and we plan to launch the final product for regular sale in early 2026.
